Terms & Conditions

1. General

Automodules.uk provides module installation, diagnostic and module services for cars, vans and HGVs. By booking any service, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. Automodules.uk reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Booking & Access Requirements

• Vehicle must be accessible, safely parked and on level ground.
• Adequate working space must be provided.
• If access is restricted or unsafe, the job may be refused and a call‑out fee may still apply.
• Customer must disclose any known electrical faults, modifications or previous work.

3. Pricing & Quotes

• Pricing is valid at time of request unless otherwise stated.
• Quotations apply to parts unless agreed otherwise.
• Prices may vary depending on vehicle type, complexity and equipment supplied.
• Mileage charges may apply beyond 25 miles from Grimsby.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise. Accepted methods include cash, bank transfer or approved invoicing. Late payments may incur interest at 3% above the Bank of England base rate.

5. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

• Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a call‑out charge.
• If access is not possible on arrival, the full call‑out fee applies.
• Jobs cancelled due to unsafe conditions may still be charged.

6. Warranty & Liability

Installation workmanship is covered by a 12‑month warranty. Warranty excludes customer‑supplied faulty equipment, third‑party damage, or unrelated faults. Warranty claims must be reported within 7 days.

7. Customer‑Supplied Equipment

Installed at customer’s own risk. No warranty on performance or reliability. Labour charges apply even if equipment is incompatible or faulty.

8. Diagnostics

Diagnostics include visual inspection only and do not guarantee a fix. Additional diagnostics may be billed hourly. Some faults require manufacturer‑level tools.

9. Out‑of‑Hours Work

Rates apply after 6pm, weekends and bank holidays. Emergency call‑outs subject to availability.

10. Fleet & Repeat Work

Fleet customers may receive tailored pricing based on volume, frequency and vehicle type.

11. Travel & On‑Site Requirements

Mileage charges apply beyond the standard radius. On‑site work must comply with health and safety requirements.

12. Data & Privacy

Automodules.uk complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Data is used solely for service delivery, invoicing, warranty or safety verification.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
